In 1933, J.W. Poulter claims to be the first to pump mud under
concrete slabs to fill in voids under the slab. In 1942, U.S. Navy
Seabees pumped mud concrete runways to raise them during
World War II.under

John G. Meyers started his suburban Chicago
SLABJACKING business in 1983. He first saw the
potential for SLABJACKING in the late 1960's when he
watched an ex-Navy Sea Bee raise a settled industrial
floor with heavey machnery on it. The Sea Bee did the
work with surplus equipment used for raising runways in
the South pacific during World War II. That equipment
though, was too large and cumbersome for most jobs. In
the late 1970's, manufactures started producing pumps
for small jobs and soon afterwards Meyers got into the
business and "AMERICAN CONCRETE RAISING" was
born!!
AMERICAN CONCRETE RAISING has become
the World leaders and Techinical advisors in the
SLABJACK process!
